I’m not going to sit here and pretend that I was the biggest Nipsey Hussle fan, don’t get me wrong, I rocked with some of his tracks and Victory Lap was a dope album, he dropped a lot of gems on that project. But for his death, resonated with me...it’s just a shitty and sad situation. He gave back to the community he was from, opened businesses in the hood where he was from, he was really giving back. 33 years old, a husband, father, brother, son, friend..list goes on. I’m turning 33 in a couple of weeks, we’re the same age...it’s crazy. I pray for his wife, kids, family and friends. Play is his music, stream his music, he owns his masters, so his family will continue to benefit from that. Rest in Power, Neighborhood Nip.
